The Bhima Cares Foundation was started by its Founding Chairman Dr. AK Kala and in dedication to the sweet memory of his beloved mother late Smt. Bhima Kala, with the belief that after a lifetime of contributing to the welfare of the family and the nation with commitment and hard work, the senior citizens deserve to retire with dignity and love, and with this sole purpose, and children needs special care.
Children with disabilities and special needs are put through developmental assessment and by imparting Individual education plan in four areas—Literacy, Numeracy, Communication and Life Skills. We then provide a full-time educational and rehabilitative program designed to maximize each child’s ability to function independently, and wherever possible to receive traditional schooling. The ratio of Bhima Cares staff to children is approximately 1:3, ensuring that each child gets the individualized attention he or she needs.
We teach Yoga and provide alternative therapies like acupressure and magnetic therapy to children as well as the senior citizens.
Bhima Cares Foundation (‘A Brasten Group company intended for CSR Activities’) established in 2018 is a not-for-profit nodal body aimed at providing a dedicated approach to community development and also to fulfil our CSR commitments. Bhima Cares Foundation works towards improving the quality of life of the underprivileged, abandoned old age people, health and educational care for special children etc., The Company’s focus has always been to contribute to the sustainable development of the society and environment, and to make our planet a better place for future generations
